King Diamond by Anastasia Pantsios

I remember seeing King Diamond. He was in a band called Merciful Faith, and I saw him at the old fantasy theater, one summer night, and it felt like 90 degrees inside. It was probably more like 110 because it was an air conditioned. In fact, the opening act was a group from Chicago. I can't remember their name, but one of the members passed out during their set and had to go outside the back door. The door locked, and he couldn't get back in. But after that, King came out on stage, and he was wearing layer after layer of black velvet demonic stuff, with the black velvet hood. He wasn't even sweating.
